In 1996, Ferry and Ron started Ferro Footwear by simply aiming at the domestic market. Since then, we have built a diversity of partnerships worldwide without losing our warm and casual atmosphere. With full dedication, we serve our customers from our headquarters in the Netherlands, and our office in China. We are an energetic young team driven by a passion for shoes. We dare to dream big and put these dreams into action. Our company is characterized by honesty, openness and transparency.
(Customized) Product design is at the core of our business
We offer a large selection of shoe styles for men, women, and kids, as well as for sports. We don’t just ensure outstanding value, we are also fast in bringing the latest (fashion) trends to the markets. Our design teams are on top of the latest market trends and deliver these latest fashion trends into our collections quickly. We are operating from a centralized design centre in The Netherlands where we work closely together with our development/sourcing centre in China. Short development cycles and continuous collection updates allow us to respond quickly to the latest fashion trends, bringing popular styles into your outlets rapidly, safe and inspected, working closely together with our suppliers on manufacturing processes. By doing so, Ferro can guarantee the quality that we promise to our customers. Ferro’s quality and environmental standards include using external testing institutes, such as the TÜV monitor compliances. Ferro’s quality and environmental standards exceed by far the legal requirements.
Quality and pollution tests – safety for our customers
Strict quality control ensures that FERRO quality standards are met all over the world. All our products have to pass a contamination test. The leather and sole quality, as well as the fit and durability, are examined. Random tests are carried out during the production stage. Apart from that, we fully control the production process. If a problem occurs, our experts provide the supplier with assistance and technical advice. We work with various renowned institutes such as: TÜVRheinland// PFI// UL-STR Testing & Inspection// Intertek Testing Services with offices in HK// Hansecontrol Hermes// TÜV Sud// SGS// Bureau Veritas.

Sport Concept is a licensing distribution and marketing company operating within Europe. SC strength lies in the constructive relationships with retailers, enabling retailers in Europe to distribute and effectively build brands. SC is the distribution licensing partner for UMBRO, the authentic football lifestyle brand that capitalizes on the 24/7 football fans. The rights holder for the Benelux and DACH markets, and with substantial demand creation investments in teams (PSV Eindhoven / FC Nurnberg and Werder Bremen) and players, SC was able to re-build the brand within Europe.
